Shetland
qualities and bouclé fabrics
may be washed by hand. We recommend
a mild liquid detergent. The water
should be lukewarm, which means
30°C roughly. Please avoid
wringing out your garment too firmly.
Just press it out cautiously. Milled
jackets are laid down and put into
shape. Avoid putting milled fabrics
into the drier or hanging them
up on a coat hook or hanger.

Wash
and care of milled clothes:
(i.e. a thin kind of milled
fabric, mainly used for spring
and summer collections) we
recommend dry cleaning, because
being washed in the machine
the cloth might change due
to its structure.

Appliqué jackets:
Should generally be handled with
care. But thanks to the qualities
of wool milled fabrics are hard-wearing
to a great extent. This is why
they need not to be washed very
often.

Wash
and care of Giesswein slipper
socks:
The indoor
shoes can be washed in a washing
machines at a maximum
temperature of 30°C. They must,
however, never be machine-dried,
as the natural rubber of the soles
would disintegrate. CAUTION: Do
not use fabric conditioners.
